Ece is a climate professional with over five years of experience specializing in GHG accounting and management, decarbonization, and climate risk. Before entering the climate field, she worked in marketing, client relationship management, and project management, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her current work.
Driven by a genuine desire to help organizations grow in ways that are both sustainable and meaningful, Ece combines strategic insight with human-centered values. With a background in commerce and a career spanning both the financial and environmental sectors, she bridges business and climate priorities with clarity and purpose.
Before joining OPEN, Ece worked at BMO Climate Smart, where she supported businesses in benchmarking their greenhouse gas emissions, identifying opportunities for emissions reductions, and reporting results through frameworks or certifications such as B Corp and SBTi. She is also familiar with leading ESG frameworks, including ISSB, TCFD, and GRI.

OPEN Technologies grew out of the OPEN Green Building Society, a non-profit organization that has been developing open source software tools for the green building space since 2013. Today, OPEN Technologies and OPEN Green Building Society are affiliated organizations with a shared goal: to use data to shape a regenerative future for our cities.
