Bryan Luu
Software Developer
Bryan is a budding software developer passionate about applying technology towards societal issues, with an emphasis on meaningful and people-driven work.
As a former scientist, Bryan previously did research on Quantum Computing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Perimeter Institute of Theoretical Physics, until he switched tracks towards mission-driven software in 2019. He has worked on embedded software for Physics measurements, GUI applications for scientific research, and most recently, full-stack software development in a government-tech start-up. Through his broad experience, he has continually sought to learn new things and develop his skill-set as an engineer. He is excited to be fighting for OPEN’s mission of making net-zero buildings a reality.

Team
Our team has decades of experience in green building innovation, software development, and business development.
With executive and management level experience in policy-making, real estate development, property management, architecture, energy modelling, product management, and business management, we have a holistic understanding of the building sector and the leverage points to create positive change.
OPEN Technologies grew out of the OPEN Green Building Society, a non-profit organization that has been developing open source software tools for the green building space since 2013. Today, OPEN Technologies and OPEN Green Building Society are affiliated organizations with a shared goal: to use data to shape a regenerative future for our cities.
